The Subservient Nigerian

It is public knowledge that when you grow up in Nigeria, at a tender age, you learn things like; you have to respect your elders regardless of how undeserving they are, you have to greet everyone and if you come in contact before the day has progressed too far, you greet them by saying "well-done ". Some go as far as to greet for everything being done. If the person is sitting, "eku-ijoko" well-done for sitting down; if he's eating, "eku-jeun" well-done for eating.

In the same fashion, if an elder has done something wrong, it is considered respect to take it as part of life and some sort of growing process that teaches you that life isn't fair. And so in an average Nigerian, there's that inbuilt Subservient attitude where they feel like someone else is better than them because they're older or they're lighter skinned and if they're Caucasian, they're treated like Gods.

It is really sad to see Nigerians grovel and serve someone who under-pays them or treats then no better than sewer rats and yet they're able to find satisfaction in that situation.

I'll come back with a personal perspective on this but for now I have some ass kissing to do because at the end of the month that's where my 50,000(208$) wage is coming from.

Bobbi Kristina passes away at 22

Only child of the late Whitney Houston has passed away in almost similar fashion as her mother. It should be recalled that Bobbi was found unresponsive in her bathtub, was rushed to the hospital and was put into a medically induced coma which she never recovered from. It should be noted that even months back, had Bobbi ever awoken from her coma, she still would never have been able to live a fully normal life as she was brain damaged.
Family members believe that she is in better hands now.

Toke Makinwa's New StepChild

After we heard the news of Toke Makinwa's husband having a pregnant lover, it is only normal that the pregnant should give birth.

With great joy, I welcome to the Ayida/Makinwa family, a new child. Faultless and blameless and yet coming into  some serious drama.

Kylie Jenner looks really thin in her recent pics and reveals the shocking way she lost some weight! 

Kylie Jenner the 17 year old superstar by association, looks amazing and she’s telling us how she got her body summer ready! The reality star claims she gained 15 pounds and didn’t understand why. Kylie admits she tends to love fried and fatty foods but it was a visit to the doctor that got her back on track. It turns out Kylie is lactose intolerant and that it was her allergy to diary that was making her gain weight. She’s says she’s had to eliminate cheese and other foods from her lifestyle and that it’s really difficult for her.

“I’m working out and I’m eating a lot better,” she told E!. “Well, I didn’t realize I was lactose intolerant. I just became lactose intolerant like, this year. And I love like, cheese and everything so I’m so mad but, I dunno, I just, it was my year to eat bad. I was like, while I’m young, I might as well. I didn’t care about a diet or anything. But now, this last month, I’ve been working on it just for health reasons only.” Kylie actually says Khloe Kardashian is her inspiration: “She actually found out, which is interesting—I don’t know if she wants me to tell people this, that she was allergic to coconut oil and she was cooking everything with coconut oil. So then she stopped that and then she like, lost all the water weight. She she’s doing really great.”

Meanwhile, Kylie has been dealing with the reports that claims her boyfriend, Tyga, has been cheating on her with a transgender model, Mia Isabella. The reality star hasn’t said anything about it but they were spotted together on July 12 grabbing some sushi. It’s unclear if they are going to stay together but at least for now Kylie is supporting her man. We just hope Kylie is doing okay otherwise because it’s a lot for a young girl to handle!
